Working on the Kokomusik"
Recently I heard from folk connected with an annual event called "Black Fine Art Month". The exchange was professional and cool. I wonder? Wonder what you say?
? I often joke that me and Rhythmism have been "Black-balled" in most Black Art circles and narratives. Even when the curators and historians have met with me and blatantly appropriated my concepts and the like. Therefore I wonder is this exchange the beginning of the removal of that censorship.
That invisible blockade that so many have manifested because they resent or feat the future-primitif truth of Rhythmism and the fact that over decades I have successfully....without them....often before they were even involved in the art...experimented with the genre I actually named.
They have missed so much Black Male Artiste Magic.
What's in a name? Brands are the power!
Riddle me this???? "What exactly is Black Art?"
