"Rhythmistic Preview":

Prof. Onli is extremely excited to invite astute art lovers to a unique showing of key excerpts from several of his important evolving critically acclaimed collections of Rhythmistic Visual Fine Art. 

They are from the "No Evils", "Rhythmistic Quilts", and the "Passion Fruit" bodies of works.  All original art.  Each has universal appeal and is available for well-resourced collection or exhibition negotiations. This is an opportunity to appreciate the artworks, meet the artist in his new loft-space along with a rare chance to compare and contrast aspects of these three important Future-Primitif collections of Rhythmistic Visual Fine Art.

Of special note is that Onli's 1995 "Rhythmistic Bench" is still part of the permanent collection of the Chicago Children's Musuem.

His 2007 "Itz A Rhythmistic World" is still a major part of the important Cool Globes traveling public art exhibition.  Cool Globes are about offering "hot ideas for a cooler planet" in terms of Going Green, being sustainable and proven conservation practices.

  

Prof. Onli feels eternally honored that his Rhythmistic works are still a part of these two highly valued exhibitions.

 Prof. Onli has relocated to the dynamic Ravenswood District of Chicago after decades of being based for decades in the far-reaching Hyde Park creative enclave.

He sees this as a new beginning to enter a more art-centric Rhythmistic styled Renaissance. One where the core guide of his original-vision will flow beyond working in a set themed series and growing long running collections, but more at one with chaos theory....until an elaborate synthesizing pattern emerges. 

Then pivot!

"The Naga" oils on wood, painted in 2022 and the vintage "Rhythmistic Quilts" textile collection Rhythmistic selections both feature Onli's respectful gaze toward the female as goddesses, powerful, fertile and revered in bold narrative art. The current trend in the visual arts world tends to marginalize or even demonize these types of tributes and artworks when they are done by heterosexual men. Onli once had an exchange with a wealthy influential art collector who stated that she would have purchased some of Onli's works had he been a she or Gay. 

Onli thanked her for her candor and told her she gave voice to so many who obviously felt like her.  She even went on to offer his works were outstanding convincing depictions of woman as regal goddess-like matrons and not simply poorly rendered objects.  But she was not buying from him. 

NOTE: There will be focused RSVP Studio Openings so small groups of well-resourced astute art lovers can better analyze, evaluate to collect his artworks.  

Plus, Prof. Onli will continue to gladly accept clients and commissions along the way.
